Obituary of Liborio D'Agostaro

Liborio “Benny” D’Agostaro, 94 of Toms River, NJ passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday January 23, 2019. Born in New York, NY Benny spent time living in Collesano, Italy, Brooklyn, NY and Toms River, NJ. He proudly served in the Italian Army and worked as a security guard and maintenance worker for Western Union and Manhattan Nursing Home. Benny was a communicant of St. Finbar Church of Brooklyn, NY and was a hard worker, great cook and loved spending time with his family.

Benny was predeceased by his wife Antonina in 2005.

He is survived by his loving children Jack D’Agostaro and wife Judith of New Orleans, Joseph D’Agostaro and wife Susan of Shrewsbury, NJ, Anthony D’Agostaro and wife Vicky of Point Pleasant, NJ and Marie Vicinanza and husband Joseph Guenther of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, grandchildren Cathy, Anthony, Giancarlo, Giana and Robert, great-grandchildren Emily, Eric, Joseph, Connor and Caden and, loving sister-in-law Vincenza DiMatteo and nieces and nephews Ninetta, Pietro and Maria all of Collesano, Sicily. The family would like to thank the staff and friends at the Terraces Assisted Living facility for a wonderful 4 years.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 25, 2019 from 3-8pm and on Saturday January 26, 2019 from 9:30-10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Mass will be held on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 11am at St. Theresa’s Church 450 Radio Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
