Obituary of Albert L Canzano
Albert Lawrence Canzano, 83 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at his home on January 17, 2019 in his loving wife’s arms and surrounded by his adoring family.
Born in Jersey City, NJ as one of thirteen children of Gaetano and Adeline Canzano, Albert settled his family in Old Bridge, NJ in 1965. After raising their eight children they retired to Little Egg Harbor and he and his love have enjoyed a wonderful life together here for the past 17 years.
He was a communicant of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Little Egg Harbor. Albert proudly served his country as a United States Marine. He drove an 18 wheeler for the Gross & Hecht Trucking Co. and was a proud member of the Teamster’s Local 863. He was an avid NY Yankee & Giants fan. He enjoyed playing softball in a Senior Men’s League when he wasn’t working on his “Honey Do” list. Most of all he cherished the time he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and his newest great grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Ann Marie Canzano (nee Flanagan), children Chrisann Cicalese of Barnegat, NJ, Cheryl Hatt of Lake City, FL, Albert Canzano Jr. and wife Maria of Millstone, NJ, Celeste Formanek and husband Michael of Glen Rock, NJ, Michael Canzano and wife Tammy of Jackson, NJ, Claudine Lavery and husband John of Howell, NJ, Mark Canzano and wife Tracy of Old Bridge, NJ and Craig Canzano and wife Devon of Howell, NJ, 22 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday January 22, 2019 from 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM and Wednesday January 23, from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg
Harbor, NJ 08087. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at 11AM at St. Theresa R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor.
