Obituary of Frances Farrington

Frances Farrington, 60 of Manahawkin, NJ passed away while surrounded by her loved ones on Monday December 31, 2018. Bornin Philadelphia, PA she lived in Beach Haven, NJ before moving to Manahawkin 42 years ago. She was a school bus driver for the Stafford Elementary and LBI Consolidated Elementary Schools and was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Church. Fran volunteered her time driving the church van to bring parishioner's to the church who needed transportation and she had been active in the Boy Scouts Troop #23 and the Cub Scouts Pack #61 for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, doing needlepoint and arts and crafts, but her truest passion was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Frances was predeceased by her father, John(Jack) McCarty, mother, Joan(Nee Tobin), brother Edward McCarty and sister Jacquelyn Snow.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years William “Bill” Farrington III, children Nicole Johann (Christopher) of Florida, William “Bill” Farrington IV (Sara) of Colorado, John Farrington (Fiancé Tracy Davis) of Toms River, sisters Joann Zahradnick of Manahawkin and Bernice Smith(Don) of Barnegat, grandchildren Maggie Rose, Gillian Aja, Kaitlyn, William V “Buddy”, Emily and Allyson, many nieces and nephews and extended family Kristy and Andrew Schmitt and their children Joie and James and Richard and Laura Kayto and their son RJ.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturda June 8, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Mary of the Pines R.C. Church 100 Bishop Lane Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  For condolences go to www.maxwellfuneralhome.com.
