Obituary of Jon L Borgeson

Jon L. Borgeson, 79 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Sunday November 18, 2018 surrounded by his family.  Born in Minneapolis, MN he lived in Brick, NJ and Englewood, FL before moving to Little Egg Harbor.  Jon was a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Lowry.  He worked as Operations Manager for Paper Plus in Carteret, NJ for many years and while there he mentored many of the other employees.  Jon always lived life to the fullest and was adventurous and he even went skydiving at the age of 65.  He was an avid boater and loved to take his grandchildren out on the water and he enjoyed spending time putzing around his garage.  

Jon was predeceased by his grandson Kyle Lyons.

He is survived by his beloved high school sweetheart and wife of 56 years Marilyn Borgeson, daughters Debbie Canfield and husband Jeff and Kristen Mooney and husband Dan, brother Barre Borgeson and wife Bette, grandchildren Sean Lyons, Meagan Lyons, Daniel Mooney, Trevor Mooney, Kaitlyn Mooney and Patrick Mooney, great grandson Vincent Lacerda, many nieces and nephews and his dog J.J.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 24, 2018 at 2:00pm at Calloway’s Restaurant 592 Main Street (Route 9) West Creek, NJ 08092 with a reception to follow.
