Obituary of Robert J Fischer

Robert J Fischer, 75 of Little Egg Harbor passed away on October 31, 2018. Bob was surrounded by his loving family as he lost his years long struggle with multiple health issues.

He was born on October 9, 1943 to Margaret Fischer (nee Shivers) and raised in Delaware Twp, now Cherry Hill, NJ. He loved the water and was an avid fisherman and boater all his life. After retiring from his painting business in 2004, he moved to Mystic Island from his home of 39 years in Voorhees.

Fishing and winemaking became his passions in life in addition to loving his family. Bob is survived by wife Linda of 55 years, sons Robert Jr. and Edward Fischer both of Gibbstown, NJ, granddaughter Ashley Fischer of Mt. Ephraim, brother John Fischer of Texas and G-Pop to Tyler Gladney. He was loved by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service honoring his life on Saturday November 10, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
