I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Laraine's family. Her family meant so very much to her!!! We Glassboro girls loved to listen to her latest updates of her niece and nephews. She was so very proud of you guys, and we often knew how she was going to spoil you at Christmas time before you knew it. Also, I never met her cousins until the night of the viewing, but I felt like I knew them through Laraine's storytelling. She was a living inspiration!! I always will admire her positive and fighting attitude towards all the ordeals that came her way. I am proud to have had her in my life and be able to call her my friend.
My sincere sympathies,
Diane

Even when Laraine wasn’t in the classroom or at Contact, she was teaching by example - love, friendship, faith, patience, endurance, acceptance, humility and always with a sense of humor. I treasure our wonderful trips to the Storytelling Festival and the Glassboro gatherings. She was truly a special person who will still be a part of our get-togethers. Praying that she’s at peace now, giggling and telling stories, I also pray that you may find peace in the promise of His Resurrection.

Please accept my deepest sympathies and prayers. Laraine has been my friend since freshman year at Glassboro, we’ve shared many laughs, tears, graduations, retirements and great adventures. I do think almost every adventure was filled with laughs.Laraine so loved you Dean and Jean, and how proud she was of Travis, Caitlin and Justin, Laraine often regaled us with stories of holidays, birthdays, vacations and shopping trips with all of you. I could never pick one memory that would capture Laraine’s vitality but one of my favorites was when she lost her suitcase out of the back of the car on a return trip from the Carolina’s, I believe Travis was in the car with her. I will miss her tremendously. May all your wonderful memories help sustain you at the time

We are so sorry to hear of your loss and extend our heartfelt condolences to the Henkel family. Knowing the great pain of losing a loved one our loving Heavenly Father in his tender mercy has promised to be close to the brokenhearted and those who are crushed in spirit (Psalms 34:18). May He grant you peace and sustain you in his loving care as you cherish your precious memories of time well spent together.
