Dear Kathy and family, Mary and I were very sorry to learn of Chris' passing. As
you know he and I worked at The Budd Company for over 40 years and spent a lot of time together. Believe me there are a lot of good memories. I also remember Chris taking me to get my truck tire fixed when we were all in Chincoteaque, Virginia. Mary and I were very happy that you and Chris were able
to visit us when you were in South Carolina. Also don't forget all the fun we had at the Budd Christmas parties. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your
familly. Joe and Mary Scullion

O'Great Spirit, whose voice I Hear in the winds and whose breathe gives life to all the world HEAR ME !
I am small and weak ,I need your strength and wisdom, Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset, make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears hear your voice make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people ,Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every rock and leaf, I seek strength not to be greater than my.brother but to fight my greatest enemy myself, Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight ears ,So when life fades as the fading sunset my spirit may come to you without shame,

The time has come for you to depart this world… although we do not want you to, we understand that you must. The memories will live on forever so fret not, you will never be forgotten! Whether it be in Chincoteague or in Lindenwold, Gibbsboro or Mystic Island… your presence will always be felt.
I only wish I could have spent a little more quality time with you prior to you moving on… love you uncle chris!
May your anchor be tight,
Your cork be loose,
Your rum be spiced,
And your compass be true.

Dearest Brother-in-law, Chris. There is a great sense of loss that Chris is gone, but a peace, knowing he is out of pain. The only comfort knowing that he died "in Christ" and for that reason he is ALIVE. He will be so missed.

My dearest, cherished and treasured Uncle Chris...while I have floated in this family's ocean you have been my anchor. You have loved me and let me love you. My Daddy's brother, my Daddy's stand-in. My true family. I will miss everything about you, but mostly your hugs and your giggles. No one hugs like a Hoechst. I hope you and Daddy are making mischief; fishing, sailing, riding the waves. Together. With all the dogs before us, Zack, Sadie, Tuesday and crazy Napolean. I will love Aunt Kathy until the end of time, just as I know you do. Thank you for sharing your life and laughs with me, for filling the hole in my heart and for always being you. Thank you for everything. I will miss you every day and I will see you on the other side of the stars.
