Obituary of Harriet Ruth Thomas

Harriet R. Thomas, 79 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Wednesday August 29, 2018.  Born in Anderson, S.C. she lived in Branchburg, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 15 years ago.  She worked for Airco BOC in Murray Hill, NJ, she was an avid bowler and she loved spending time with her family.

Harriet was predeceased by her husband Walter Thomas in 2005. She is survived by her sons Walter W. Thomas (Denise) of Hobe Sound, FL, Mark E. Thomas (Janet) of Avenel, NJ, Scott M. Thomas (Joanne) of Clayton, NC and Steven M. Thomas (Janine) of Manahawkin, NJ, sister Jean Shumer of Whiting, NJ, grandchildren Natalie, Walter, Griffin, MacKenzie, Matthew, Tara, Nancy, Shannon, Ryan, Andrew and Chris, great grandchildren Selah, Landon, Adriana, Carter, Iver and Lulu as well as nieces and nephews.

Viewing hours will be held on Sunday September 2, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at Monday September 3, from 9:30am to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton, NJ.
