Obituary of Sharon Schlagenhaft

Sharon Schlagenhaft 70, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 26th after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Rahway NJ, she lived in South River and Spotswood before moving to Little Egg Harbor 17 years ago. She worked part time in the catering business as well as for Continental Airlines while devoting her life to raising her three children. She was an active member of Bayside Chapel in Barneget and was known by many as a Prayer Warrior. She was quick to share the Lord with others and loved serving her Lord and Savior.

Sharon leaves behind her beloved husband of 53 years Patrick Schlagenhaft; three children, Patrick Jr. and wife Amy of Brick, Jaime Mortland and husband Tom of Hamilton, and Paul and wife Cheryl of Forked River as well as 11 grandchildren, Mikayla, Jessica, Thomas, Sophie, Alexis, Patrick III,Jennifer, Ashlee, Samantha, Skyler and Emily. Sharon will be greatly missed.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday September 22, 11:00 AM at Bayside Chapel in Barnegat NJ. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00.
