Obituary of Elizabeth Radomski

Radomski, Elizabeth “Betty”, 93 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Saturday April 21, 2018 at Seacrest Village Nursing Home. Betty was born in Mount Carmel, PA, in 1924. She lived in Clark, NJ before moving to the Tuckerton, Little Egg Harbor area, 25 years ago.

Betty worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company located in Cranford, NJ before retiring in 1982. She was an active member in the Holy Rosary Society in Clark, NJ and was a member and officer of the Polish American Club in Tuckerton. She was very creative and was an avid lover of art. She enjoyed making and designing jewelry that became known as “Betty’s Beads”. 

Betty was very hard working.  She was an early activist and promoter of women in the workforce. She spearheaded the “movement of moms returning to the workforce”, back in the 1960’s.

Betty was predeceased by her parents Konstanty and Anna Harlinski and her beloved husband Chester Radomski. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Zarbock and husband William of Pittstown, son Robert Radomski of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, sister Helen Bembeneck of Baltimore, MD, grandchildren Doug Zarbock, William Zarbock and Kristen Zarbock Burke, great granddaughters Madeleine Zarbock and Layla Zarbock Burke, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Viewing hours will be held on Thursday April 26 2018 from 11am until the Funeral Service at 12pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  Burial will follow at 1:30pm at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
