He was a friend and came up to the W2ZQ Shack in West Trenton to visit several times during the TEN_TEC Nets.
He loved his TEN-TEC Corsair 2 and checked in all the time and really like hearing all the folks on the air.
One day he drove the two hours one way because " His Baby" had a problem and we hooked up a hand
mic and then a Regal 707 mic and figured out it was just a lose ground wire on his base mic.
Boy you would have thought we had saved his first born child, he was a very happy guy.
Dick helped a lot of new and old and future Hams often.
We will all miss our friend Dick from the New Jersey Shore checking in with his TEN-TEC Corsair 2
into the TEN_TEC Nets each week. Most of all his love of Amatuer Radio and his fellow Ham.
Our Prayers for his beloved Family from the TEN-TEC Family. 73, Lloyd N2KPC ANM TEN_TEC Radio Net

I am sorry for the loss of your dear Richard. We struggle with the question of why something like this happens, why people even have to die at all. God hates when things like this happen. He has a purpose that includes "death being no more" -Rev. 21:3, 4, as well as promising to “undo” death with the resurrection of our loved ones – John 5:28, 29. Currently the world is "lying in the power of the wicked one", but not for much longer. This hope has helped me get through some tough times and I hope it helps you now. When some time has passed, feel free to visit www.jw.org for more comfort. Again, I am sorry for your loss. MN
