Obituary of Christine Monforte

Christine Monforte, 85 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2017.  She was born and lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Little Egg Harbor 33 years ago.

Christine was a member of the Republican Club and the Italian American Club and a Communicant of St Theresa’s Church all in Little Egg Harbor.  She was a kind and compassionate person who enjoyed cooking for everyone and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Joseph Monforte, daughters Marie Romeo (Charles) of Staten Island, Helen Papandrea (Eugene) of Little Egg Harbor, Roseann Hervey (William) of Staten Island, Nancy Schulter (Don) of Little Egg Harbor and Michelle Pearsall (Michael) of Little Egg Harbor, son Joseph Monforte (Laurie) of Matawan, NJ, brothers John Pipitone, Jimmy Pipitone (Marie) and Paulie Pipitone (Angie), 16 grandchildren  and 20 great grandchildren.

Viewing hours will be held on Friday December 15, 2017 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm and Saturday December 16 from 7:30 to 8:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday December 16 at 9am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor followed by mausoleum entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
