In June of 1967 my family moved to Presidential Lakes. I was eleven. The first day in PL, my brother Steve and I went for a walk around the front lakes. We crossed the dam road and met 3 kids fishing, Billy and his brothers Alan and Ronnie. I remember that day and our conversation and Billy's genuine good nature. He never changed.

I was very sad to hear the news of Bill's passing. I have been a friend and a fellow volunteer with Bill at the Bayshore Center at Bivalve (A.J.Meerwald organization) for many years. We had some really fun times on the Meerwald as volunteer deckhands and many Second Friday's in the Oyster Cracker Café. The first time I met Bill was when the boat was in Cape May and we were both volunteers. He introduced me to his daughter Carolyn. I know Bill loved his children and was a devoted and proud father. He was also a very giving, kind, and fun person to be around. I, for one, will surely miss his smiling face. God bless his family and friends and loved ones and may He comfort you all in His loving embrace.

To, Bills Sisters and Brother and all his children & grandchildren. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
Bill (Billy) and I go back to childhood growing up in Presidential Lakes. When we were young he would steal my hair ribbons every chance he had and keep them in a box, it was years later that I found them in his house. He was always smiling and always kind. I thought he was the smartest person I knew, especially when he built a working record player from scraps. We became House Mates for a short time at an early age right after I graduated from high school, he even trusted me to drive his fast orange AMX Car that he loved.
He was a good friend even if we did not see much of each other in our later years, but we did manage to see each other from time to time. I will miss my friend.

Bill and I were fellow technicians behind the scenes at the Phillies for my 14 years there. Bill managed our multitude of phones and phone vendors quietly and completely supported my broadcast side for so many stations, networks and world champs games making life easy for our broadcasters...and me.
I will truly miss a great Phillies friend and compatriot. Life will go on but his life will be preserved in Bill's years of work, his lasting memory in our ballpark systems and our work going forward.
My condolences along with the Phillies to our friend.

From the very first time I met Billy he treated me like family. He was always sweet, caring and welcoming. I have always enjoyed talking to him and respected him immensely. I was blessed to have know him and will miss his smile and kind heart. I know how much he missed Cathy and find comfort in the fact that they are reunited for eternity. To Ronnie, Holly, Linda and Bills children - we are so sad to hear about the passing of Bill. He was a great guy and child hood friend. Would always get our family Phillies tickets whenever - nothing was ever a problem. We are going to miss him - such a happy, friendly guy!

My deepest sympathy on Bill's passing. He was a super guy and co-worker. He always helped me out with my phone issues. Always appreciated him and he sure was a good man.
I regret that I wont be able to attend his service as I will be out of town in one of his favorite spots- Clearwater, FL on the 15th. My condolences to his loving family.
