Obituary of Blanche Simpkins

Blanche Simpkins, 81 of Manahawkin, NJ passed on Sunday September 4, 2016. Blanche was born in Waretown, and lived in Tuckerton for 40 years before moving to Barnegat over 10 years ago. She was a past member of the Tuckerton Methodist church and she enjoyed sewing, taking care of her house and family and dancing. She was predeceased by her husband Franklin Simpkins Jr., daughter Ethel Matos, brothers Emil and Oscar Ridgeway and Milton Warden, and granddaughters Jenifer Driggins and Stephanie Simpkins-Woolf. She is survived by her loving son Frank Simpkins III of Barnegat, sister Maryann VanLenten (Barry) of Bayville, grandchildren Mary Cardona, Carmen Wolf and Robert Matos and great-grandchildren Naudia Lynn Marsae Driggins, Sierra Joy Driggins, Christopher Ryan Storms and Mikayla Catherine Cardona. Visitation will be held on Friday September 9 from 7-9pm and Saturday September 10, 2016 from 9am until her Funeral Service at 10am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
