Obituary of Pellegrino D Borrelli

Pellegrino “Perry” Dominic Borrelli, 77 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed on Wednesday August 24, 2016. Perry was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Iselin before moving to Little Egg Harbor 12 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church and sang for many years in the St. Lucy Choir in Newark, NJ. Perry was a Captain in the Newark Police Department where he retired after 33 years of service. He was very athletic and enjoyed Golf, Tennis and Racquetball. He was predeceased by his parents Jerry and Mary Borrelli, daughter Carla Borrelli and brother Louie Borrelli. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years Linda, sons Perry and wife Megan of Newark, DE, Steven Borrelli of South Amboy, step-daughter Nicole Guarno of Little Egg Harbor, sisters Rose Crapis of Toms River, Joan Paolino of Staten Island, NY and grandchildren Nicholas and Chloe. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor on Tuesday August 30th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Popcorn Park Zoo at Popcorn Park P.O.
