Obituary of Albert Leonardis

Albert “Chick” Leonardis, 82 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Born in Newark, he lived there until moving to Little Egg Harbor 8 years ago. He loved spending time with his children and grand-children. He enjoyed fishing and going to the beach at Seaside Heights, NJ and Ocean City, MD. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Rose Leonardis and his sister Rosemarie Cifelli. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sarah Leonardis, son Albert Leonardis and wife Kathy of Edison, daughter Rosemary Moreira and boyfriend Stephen Tripoli of Little Egg Harbor, sister Frances “Dolly” Tortoriello, grand-children Jillian, Danielle Hickey (John), Albert and Nicole (Dennis), and nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be held on Sunday July 31, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm and Monday August 1 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
