I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Ray's passing, and would have been there to tell you so in person, had I received the sad news sooner. Ray was one of the most memorable students I ever taught, with his ever-present smile and his way of being kind and friendly with everyone who crossed his path. Both in school and out, he was always dependable, reliable and optimistic. His memory will always live on among his multitude of friends. Stay strong, all of you.

Rowland Family,
I am very saddened to hear of Ray's passing. I am out of town and will not be able to attend the services on Friday but I wanted to extended my deepest condolences to all of you. Ray was always a pleasure to have in my PE classes at George J. Mitchell many years ago and I enjoyed watching him excel on the field and basketball court at Pinelands.

Robin, Al and family-
I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you all. I remember Ray as a little kid when you lived in Barnegat and when you first moved to Little Egg and all the kids moved between the houses. The Sarnelli's and the Rowland's had their own pack and all the laughter you would hear. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart is breaking for the entire Rowland family. I know too well what you are going through. Ray Ray was Chris' first friend at Seton Hill University. He was an awesome individual and I feel honored to have known him. He has kept in touch with me since Chris has passed and that meant more to me than anyone will ever know. Ray was one of the most amazing humans ever. It seemed impossible for this guy to be in a bad mood and unlike most of us in H.S. he never took sides with any cliques. He was friends to everyone.
