Obituary of Michael Capicotto

Michael Capicotto, 78 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Saturday March 12, 2016. Born in Brooklyn, NY he lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Little Egg Harbor 13 years ago. Michael was US Marine Corp Veteran and worked for All Seasons Solar in Galloway, NJ. He was an avid golfer and member of Atlantis Golf Course in Little Egg Harbor and South Shore Golf Course in Staten Island. He enjoyed sports and was a NY Jets and NY Mets fan and he loved to watch old movies. He was a Parishioner of St. Theresa’s Church in Little Egg Harbor. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Marietta Capicotto, daughters Terri Anne Kitts and husband John of Scotch Plains, NJ and Lauren Scoppettuolo and husband Anthony of Nebo, NC, grandchildren Nicole and Michael Kitts and Valerie and Evan Perez and his beloved dog Charlie. Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor followed by burial at the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
