Obituary of Nicholas Lepore

Nicholas Lepore, 80 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Thursday January 28, 2016 with his family at his side. Born in Giovinazzo, Italy, he lived in Howard Beach Queens and Newtown, PA before moving to Little Egg Harbor 14 years ago. He was a US Army Veteran and worked as a Machinist for the New York City Transit Authority. Nick was a car enthusiast and worked as an autoparts manager when he was younger. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Diane Lepore, daughters Helen Lepore Nau and husband Fred of Huntington, NY and Francesca Valentini of Branchburg, NJ and Frank Valentini of High Bridge, NJ his grandchildren Bianca and Steven Valentini and sister Yolanda Caccavo of Italy, whom he called on the phone every day. Viewing hours will be held on Sunday January 31, 2016 from 1 to 4pm and Monday February 1st from 9:30 to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday February 1st at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor followed by interment at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Branchburg, NJ.
