Obituary of Charles R. Deal

Charles R. Deal, 72 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Sunday January 24th, 2016. Charles was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived there before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1974. Charles enlisted and served in the United States Army from 1961-1964. He worked as a Police Officer for the Philadelphia Police Department 24th District and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Charles went on to work at Pinelands Regional High School in the Maintenance Department and he loved to collect clocks. He is survived by his loving children Patricia Deal Kilmurray (Brian) of Little Egg Harbor and Mark Ellis (Aindrea) of Little Egg Harbor, his sisters Helen Butler and Claire McLaverty both of Marlton, NJ, his grandchildren Jeffrey Deal, Christopher Kozlowski, Jennifer Kozlowski, Colin Ellis and Amanda Schavley and his great-grandchildren Cameron, Abigail, Claire and Gavin. Charles was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Deal, his daughter Mary Elizabeth Deal, his brothers Frederick Deal and William Deal and his sisters Mary Elizabeth Deal and Geraldine Deal. Viewing hours will be held on Friday January 29, 2016 from 10am until his funeral service at 12pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
