The world lost a sweetheart of a soul, a wonderful mom, a fun next door neighbor and confidant.
You were a special lady, Joann. Your sweetness to our daughter for 10 years and your willingness to finish off a few glasses of wine together with Dawn and I created a warm spot in our hearts.
Your constant presence on your front porch with Keith while watching Louis, Mary & Adam come and go, blossom and grow is how ill always envision you. Your face just above the porch rail with a hello and a wave. It was a blessing having you all next door during the years... with the "holiday decorations" in abundance.
Keith told me today he had no idea how many people cared, loved and supported your family in recent days. That's a tribute to your warm, friendly outstretched arms over the years.
You once said to me "George, Keith and I are very simple people." I wasn't really sure what that meant at the time, but I do now. Your love of your family. Plain and simple. I'm sure you'll continue your watch and guidance over them.
The Gnome you gave to Natalie years ago has traveled with us since we left LEH and remains in a garden. I think maybe now, we'll find him a place on our front porch to oversee the garden.
"We" have missed you and Keith. "We" Love you. Always. - Your Next door Neighbor

To my loving wife and companion. Every day my heart cries and tears of love fall on my lap. Knowing that you will not be a part of my life anymore makes it hard to continue on myself. But the strength you instilled in me and all those cherished memories that I had with you drives my love for you and nothing will stop me from remembering all the good times we had together. Your wisdom that you installed in Louis ,Mary, and Adam will be no doubt the most valuable asset in their lives. I will love and remember you forever and will be joined together in our after life.
Love you forever
Keith
