Obituary of Albert Widmer Jr.

Albert R. Widmer Jr, 82 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Wednesday October 14, 2015. Born in Paterson he lived in Manhattan, NY, Englewood, NJ and Paramus, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 5 years ago. Albert was a veteran and served in both the US Army and Navy. He was successful in marketing and advertising when he was younger and decided to change careers and become a Doctor of Chiropractic. He was the owner of Widmer Chiropractic in Englewood, NJ and was a member of the American Chiropractic Assoc. Council and the Athletics Physical Fitness Neurology and Orthopedics. He was active with the Singleton Group in Mystic Shores and enjoyed writing, drawing, music, and playing the piano. Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife Lola Widmer in 2008. He is survived by his sister Patricia Heck of Little Egg Harbor, nephews Scott Heck and wife Kathy, David Heck and wife Melissa, Keith Heck and wife Joann and niece Darlene Ritchie and husband Charlie. Viewing hours will be held on Monday October 19, 2015 from 2pm until the Funeral Service at 5pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Interment will be private.
