I first met Lillian Klem in 1977. She was a robust, quick to laugh, mischievous, no nonsense woman who had a wicked wit and singular ability to get to the heart of the matter. I last saw her at the beginning of this year. Older, wiser, still mischievous, still quick witted and just as no nonsense. Her beautiful little home was full of a life well lived. Pictures of loved ones young, old and long passed but remembered. Mementos and souvenirs and countless palms from countless Palm Sundays and beloved reminders of her unwavering faith. God's speed Mrs. Klem. I'll miss you.
