it makes me sad to hear that ms getchel passed on. Still after all these years, I have a special place in my heart for her. I was only nine years old when I was fortunate enough to get her as a teacher. She took me under her wing knowing that I was abused at my school from a previous nun at another school. If it wasn't for her, I would not be the person I am today. Thank you ms getchel... You rock!

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Getchell, my 4th grade teacher at Fords School #7. She is one of the reasons that I am a teacher today. God bless her and I pray for her and all of you to have the love and strength to get through this very tough time. My mom worked at the school in the office and knew Ms. Getchell. She passed in January. My hope is they are catching up on old times.

I want to send prayers to the family of MIss Getchell. She was my favorite teacher back in #7 school I fords. She was a great teacher and someone to look up to you when your a kid. The funny thing my sister had her for a teacher yrs later and she would call her Lisa which drove my sister crazy. I just wanted you to know she was a great person and teacher and she will be surely mussed. God bless.

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Miss Getchell!! I had the privilege of being a student in her 4th grade class at King Georges Road School #7 in Fords NJ around 1976. I consider her as the single person to teach me my multiplication tables and giving me my greatest joy of announcing that we were going outside to play kickball or in the gym to play prison or dodgeball with Mizz Lords class. She was rough around the edges in today's teaching standards and taught with an iron fist but I think that is what made us, me in particular, who we are today! I consider that a very good thing and I thank her and all my teachers in school #7 for doing a great job in a thankless vocation! So God bless you Miss Getchell until we meet again on that dodgeball circle in heaven!!

Lynn and Joanne were very loyal customers of mine when I was a waiter at Bella Christina's. I am truly saddened by Lynn's passing. My deepest condolences to her partner, Joanne. There are no words to express the sorrow one feels when losing a loved one, especially when you lose someone whom you have loved so dearly for so many wonderful years. Joanne, your love was inspiring to many and especially to me being so young and having not found someone yet. I hope to find love one day and share that with someone for many many years as you both did. Although Lynn is no longer with us on Earth, her soul will live on for all of eternity just as the love that you two shared will; and, one day, you will both be reunited once again for all eternity in paradise.

Lynn will be missed by all who knew her. We always loved her total person. She was a caring, loving and gentle soul. Our family is donating to the kidney organization in lynn's memory. Deepest condolences to Ms. Getchell's family and friends. Ms. Getchell was my 4th grade teacher at school #7, in 1966. I loved her, as did so many of my classmates. My memories of her came back during the years I raised with children during elementary years of school. She was extraordinary.

Lynn and I were saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend. I have known Lynn for over thirty years and cherish her as both a wonderful friend and school colleague. We will always remember her infectious laugh and great sense of humor. I, personally, will remember her as a caring, creative teacher, who always gave the extra effort to allow children to be the best that they could be. A loyal, resourceful, and dependable colleague who led the way in making our school a special, blue ribbon institute for learning. We will miss you and will always cherish our time together.

A Holiday today! See you did not even know that Lynn was thinking of you.
She gave you a day to focus and get some peace for the moment. Tomorrow is another day. She will be so happy that you are doing all this for her. She would be proud Jo I know it. Again, we are all very very sad here in HH first not being able to support you in person and losing Lynn our cousin who we got to know and got to love. I am happy that I got to know her too. She was funny I remember her laugh and loved speaking to her on the phone when you were not there. She always seemed so level headed and said Jo is going to get her mom.
You were right she is in heaven a place we will all meet up at someday. Just keep her in your day and she will be right beside you. Miss you and love you Jo
