Obituary of Carl A. Armitage, Jr.

Carl A. “Skip” Armitage Jr., 68, of Manahawkin, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born in Cranford, NJ and lived in Little Egg Harbor, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he lived for the last 5 years. Carl worked as a Stock clerk for Shoprite, Clark, NJ. He is survived by his wife Sheryl A. Parker Armitage, his two sons; Jason Armitage and his wife Katie of Little Egg Harbor and Ryan Armitage of Manahawkin, his brother William Armitage of ME, his three sisters; Candace Lewis of FL, Doris Lienhard of NJ, Susan Armitage of NJ, and his granddaughter Emily. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 4pm to 7pm and Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 10am to 11am at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A graveside service and interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin. In Lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his memory to SOMC Foundation, 1140 Route 72 West, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
