Obituary of Marian Falasca

Marian Falasca, 78 of Tuckerton, NJ was surrounded by her family as she broke the bonds of this world to rest in the arms of our Lord on Sunday May 10, 2015. Born in Edwardsville, PA she lived in Blackwood, NJ before moving to Tuckerton in 1989. She was a devoted and active member of St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in Little Egg Harbor. Marian was a majorette in high school and after graduation went to work at Bell Telephone and shortly thereafter, she met her husband John. She loved to cook and bake and decorate traditional Ukranian Psyanky Easter Eggs. She enjoyed being known as the "Candy and Cake Lady", playing BINGO and cards with her many friends. She was the self-proclaimed "Queen of Scrabble" and loved listening to oldies music. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Falasca in 2001, brothers Mike and Joe and sisters Annie and Helen. She is survived by her loving children, son John Falasca Jr. of Tuckerton and daughter Toni McCarthy and husband Joseph of Blackwood, NJ; grandchildren Kelly Clark (Robert) and Karyn Miller (Steven); great grandchildren Steven Jr, Ryan, Zachary, and Molly Grace; her best-friend Arlene and many nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be held on Friday May 15, 2015, from 10 am until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin. Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor is in charge of the arrangements.
