Obituary of Anna Matranga

Anna “Nina” Matranga, 87 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Monday April 6, 2015 at Arcadia Nursing Home in Little Egg Harbor. She was born and lived in Brooklyn, NY and spent summers in Little Egg Harbor for over 40 years before moving here full time 28 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in Little Egg Harbor and was a member of the Golden Age Club. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Carlo in 1998 and sister Marie Zanfardino. She is survived by her loving children, son Pat Matranga of Trenton and daughters Prudy Witzke of Little Egg Harbor and Connie Matacchiera of Sayreville, brothers Melo Cordaro of Jackson, NJ and Peter Cardaro of Sufferin, NY, sisters Jospehine Cordaro, Vita Galli and Lillian Gambale all of Staten Island and Rosalie Passariello of New City, NY, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday April 10, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087 followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton. Viewing hours will also be on Friday from 8:30 to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
