Obituary of Edward Lewicki

Edward Lewicki, 84 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Sunday November 30, 2014 at Arcadia Nursing Home, Little Egg Harbor. Born in Brooklyn, NY he lived in Keansburg, NJ and Middletown, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 23 years ago. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 493 in Little Egg Harbor. He worked as a butcher for Shop Rite in Middletown for 30 years and was a Communicant of St. Theresa R.C. Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Veronica Lewicki, son Edward T. Lewicki and wife Laurie of Little Egg Harbor, daughter Valerie Sapienza and husband Philip of Eatontown and grandchildren Kristen and husband Dennis Bransky, Stephanie, Christopher and Brian. Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday December 3, 2014 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm and Thursday December 4 from 9:30 to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A funeral Mass will also be held on Thursday at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, Little Egg Harbor followed by entombment at Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton.
