Obituary of Allen T. McCann

Allen T. McCann, 69 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Saturday February 14, 2015 with his family by his side. Born in Rahway, NJ he lived in Bloomsbury before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1994. Allen was employed as a Roll-Off Truck Driver for Viking Yacht in New Gretna. He enjoyed scuba diving, and boating. He also was a pilot who earned multiple rating and who logged over 2,000 small plane hours. Allen was a loving husband and a friend to all who knew him. He is predeceased by his sister Susan McCann. Allen is survived by his beloved wife Linda L. Lake McCann of Little Egg Harbor, a son Jack Keithline and his wife Terry Lynn of PA., his three daughters; Amy Quintana and her husband Paul of CA., Maelynn Marshall and her husband John of UT. and Kimberly K. Lake of DE., his two brothers; John R. McCann Jr. and his wife Sharon of PA., and Timothy McCann and his wife Kathy of Brick as well as seven grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, his Viking Yacht family and his rescued cats; “Calico Jack” and “The Black Pearl”. All services were held privately at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his memory to the Popcorn Park Zoo, Lacey Township, NJ. Maxwell Funeral Home, Little Egg Harbor was entrusted with Allen’s arrangements.
