Obituary of Adelaide A. Mitchell

Adelaide Mitchell (nee Pullen), 99 of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on November 29, 2014 at Seacrest Village Nursing Home. Born in Tuckerton, NJ to Charles and Mabel Pullen, she graduated from Tuckerton High School in 1932 and was on their basketball team. She was the owner of The Creamy Freeze and worked for many years as a seamstress in sewing factories in Tuckerton and Egg Harbor City. Adelaide was a life time member of the Redman’s and the West Tuckerton Fire Company. She was predeceased by her husband Don, sister Mildred Reeves and nephew David Larry Reeves. She is survived by her nephew Robert Reeves (Georgette), niece Hisako Reeves, grand nieces Terri Reeves (Nancy) and Kelli Nutt (Ed), Janine Wilson (Scott) and Michele Reeves and great grand nieces Danielle and Hailey Nutt. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 3, 2015 from 10am until the Memorial Service at 11:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Burial will be private.
