Obituary of Confesora Santiago

Confesora Santiago “Flora” (nee Diaz), passed away on Sunday, January 18th, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Flora was born and resided in Ponce, Puerto Rico for 30 years until she moved to Union City, New Jersey. She worked for many years as a Seamstress at J.G. Knit in Ridgefield Park, N.J. Flora loved to dance to music, shop, cook and always be surrounded by her family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Alejandro Santiago and her son William Santiago. Flora is survived by her six children; Maria (Toni), Ramon, Ricardo, Nelson, Alaida and Evelyn, her sister Louisa, her 18 grandchildren, her 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and her many family and friends. Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2015 from 2pm until her funeral service at 4pm from Maxwell Funeral Home 573 Mill Creek Road Manahawkin, NJ 08050. In lieu of flowers a donation in Flora’s memory may be made to Seacrest Village, 1001 Center Street, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
