Obituary of Anthony Di Anna
Anthony Di Anna, age 82, of Brick, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014 with his family by his side.
He was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Verona, NJ before moving to Manahawkin in 1995 where he resided until relocating to Brick in 2012. He worked as a Truck Driver for many years for Celentano Bros., Verona, NJ. He proudly served his country in Germany during the Korean War in the US Army. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, both in Barnegat, NJ.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Hencoski Di Anna of Brick, his son Anthony Di Anna Jr. of Eatontown, his daughters; Nancy Di Anna of Basking Ridge, Frances Di Anna-Kinder of Bensalem, PA and Mary Ann Di Anna of Toms River, his seven grandchildren; Michelle, Anna Marie, William, Danielle, Mariella, Michael, Laura and his two great grandchildren; Alivia and Harrison.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, 9:30am at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
