I am David's first cousin Fred. I grew up in New Gretna and went to college in Minnesota. I've out here in the Midwest ever since. As little boys we did a lot of things together. I remember playing out in the woods behind his house, going to the lake and to the ocean with David. We lost touch over the years. It saddens me to know that he is gone. My prayer for you who are is family is that God will be a comfort to you during your loss.

Dave was a man who loved the out doors ,I rember seeing the two of you walking when I would be walking my begale and they would touch noses and wag their tales.

Im so sorry for your loss. I met Dave a few years ago when I started playing in the Old Man's Hockey League in Atlantic City. Dave was always so friendly and personable. I last saw him last summer when he had come down to play on a few occasions. We will miss him.

Dear Elisa
We are so saddened by the passing of David. Needless to say we were in shock when we heard the news!! Although we never met him we knew how close the two of you were and after viewing the video you could just tell what a warm, kind, friendly and fun guy he was to be around.
