Obituary of Charles R. Glascock

Charles R. “Rick” Glascock, 73, of Manahawkin passed away on March 9, 2015. He was born in Memphis, TN. He lived in West Creek, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the last 6 years. Charles served as a sergeant for the Long Beach Township Police Department. After retirement, he worked for Prudential Insurance as an insurance salesman. He proudly served his country stateside during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was also a firefighter, serving in the Barnegat Light Fire Company and a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Brant Beach. Charles is predeceased by his sister Joan Skaggs. He is survived by his loving wife Catherine “Cassie” Montgomery Glascock, his son Richard Glascock and his wife Jennifer of Waretown, his grandson Ricky Glascock and his many countless loving family and friends. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:30AM until his Mass of Christian Burial Celebration, 11:30AM from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ. In Lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his memory to the Stafford Township Fire Department and/or the Stafford Township First Aid Squad.
