Obituary of Donald J Kincaid Sr.

Donald James Kincaid Sr., 88 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Wednesday September 25, 2019.  He was born and lived in Oaklyn, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 20 years ago.  Don graduated from Collingswood High School and joined the US Navy where he honorably served two deployments.  After discharge from the Navy he joined the family business Oaklyn Hardware and Appliance Store with his brother Howard and father where he worked for 54 years.  Don was always very active in the communities which he lived in.  He was a member of Tuckerton United Methodist Church.  He was a member of the Audubon-Haddon Twp-Oaklyn Rotary Club and was also active in the Great Bay Rotary Club where he truly lived the motto “Service above Self’.  He was a Master Mason in the Collingswood Cloud #101 Masonic Lodge, a member of the Scottish Rite in Collingswood, an exempt fireman in the Oaklyn Fire Department and was also active with Habitat for Humanity for many years.  Don was truly a “Jack of all Trades” he loved to fix and build things and was always working around the house or in the yard.

He was predeceased by his parents Howard C. and Elizabeth Kincaid, wife Margaret Kincaid and brother Howard W. Kincaid.

He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Kincaid, sons D. James Kincaid and wife Kelly of Gloucester City, NJ, Kevin D. Kincaid of Little Egg Harbor and Kenny D. Kincaid and wife Lisa of Bridgeton, NJ, daughter Kim Hansen and husband David of Cherry Hill, NJ, grandchildren Ryan and wife Jessica, Nicole and husband John, Madalyn,  Andrew, Meaghan and DJ and great grandchildren Haliey, Eric, Sophia, Brianna and Jaxon.

Viewing hours will be on Tuesday October 1, 2019 from 10am until the Funeral Service at 12noon at Tuckerton United Methodist Church 134 North Green St, Tuckerton, NJ 08087.
